It was 4th October 1988 when Steve and Dave opened the doors to Triad. They are proud of what they’ve achieved in developing Triad over those two decades as a creative and internet agency but still firmly believe that their best is yet to come.
“When we launched Triad, we had this new idea of being a practitioner-led company,” says Steve.
“The creative people would take centre stage rather than the suits. It was a new way of approaching the design business – and it’s now lasted two decades.” David adds, “We thought it would be the best way to produce our best work. And the results over the past 20 years have proved we were right!”
Over those 20 years, Triad have produced notable design, advertising, corporate identities and digital media for an impressive local, national and international client list, including clients in New York, Zurich and Turin.
Triad began life in 1988 in a converted chapel in Newport Pagnell. They moved to bigger premises in the grounds of Holdenby House, Northamptonshire in 2003. It’s a fitting setting for a design company with a remarkable history. “How can you not be inspired in a place like this?” asks David. Steve agrees, “Since coming to Holdenby, we’ve taken on some great new talent and we’ve had a new lease of life.”
Triad has always embraced new technologies to enable them to provide enhanced creative solutions, and they are continually developing their digital media skills “Our work has never been better,” says David, “We’ve been doing this for 20 years, but we still look forward to work every day to see what we’re going to come up with next!
In a competitive design industry, where design agencies seem to come and go, to last as long as Triad, and to still be producing cutting-edge creative and internet work is an achievement worth celebrating.
